Ad Infinitum
Scemtovici & Benowitz Gallery invites you on Friday, May 17, from 18:00, to the opening of the exhibition AD INFINITUM by the artist Andrea Nagy. The exhibition curated by Mădălina Mirea brings together works of drawing, painting and video.
"In the landscapes without beginning and without end, signed by Andrea Nagy, time and space are abrogated, just as our dreams and subconscious are non-linear. The modes of expression are multiple, never the same, in an insatiable thirst for movement and change. The characters are projected in a vast context, in a universe of limitless existence, full of mystery and unpredictability, revealed gradually in slow motion. For beyond the inevitable turmoil in which we are captive, AD INFINITUM is a plea for slowing down our outer rhythm and connecting to the inner rhythm of an artist who has seen ideas." – Mădălina Mirea, fragment of the curatorial text
